VINYASA YOGA

"Vinyasa" means to move with the breath...  These "flow" classes turn up the intensity.  They provide opportunity for exploration of asana, pranayama, meditation, and more.

*more upper body work

POWER YOGA

Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga is a vigorous style of yoga that combines power, vinyasa, meditation, and self-inquiry. It's a practice that aims to awaken and empower people to live life to the fullest.

*classes are heated

SLOW FLOW

Imagine a vinyasa flow but much more deliberate... focused on the stillness in the postures and breath... It's in the stillness that we connect the body and the mind.

*slower but still challenging

YIN YOGA

Moving at a much slower pace, these asana classes

use long holds to give the body time to release and open.

*more chill way to explore your practice

Why are some classes heated?

You might notice that a bunch of our classes at Yoga Hive are warmer than normal room temperature.  Why?  The heat is a tool which helps you go deeper into your practice both physically and mentally.  It improves circulation, it helps you detox, it oxygenates the body... It even helps combat depression (click here to see the Harvard study).  So many people benefit from this practice.  Don't be scared, take your first class today!
