Yinz got a bunch of crazy names for your classes. What’s what? First off, we like to be a little playful; “yoga 1” is so boring and what does it really mean? And, we’re different than most studios who teach and offer a single sequence. Our instructors train and keep training so that our offerings and classes are super diverse. Here’s our guide to what we offer.
Ashtanga Led Primary
Founded by Sri K Pattabhi Jois, Ashtanga Yoga follows a dogmatic approach to yoga. You’ll stay on track with the same sequence, watching yourself grow class after class. As the great master said, “Practice and all is coming.”
Yin
A slower, somatic approach to movement. This is literally the perfect way to catch your breath before the weekend. She’ll slow it down, but you’ll still get some great conscious, slow movement in.
Community Flow
Taught by one of our newer but well trained instructors, you’ll get a solid Baptiste inspired power vinyasa class for an amazingly little amount of dough. Plus, our new instructors are SUPER RAD!
Create Flow
Monica’s signature flow, inspired by Jason Crandall, Dice and Brihony. Her ladder flows take the best from traditional Vinyasa flows and stacked movements to create a strong, sweaty and fun practice. Always with Music.
Power and Ease
Coined by our instructor Emily, Power & Ease is a way of being. Flow to unique sequences and work to peak poses. You’ll be in a yoga state of mind in no time.
Yoga STRENGTH
Not your typical flow. In fact, it’s rarely a flow. But, you’ll still get to lots of yoga poses and yoga drills, all the rage with the LA yoga crowd. You’ll get stronger and more confident for handstand and arm balances.
Power Flow
For those of you who like your practice to move at a good clip with lots of breath cues. Dezza & Michael will get your heart rate up and your sweat flowing. This is a no nonsense, stress buster class.
Refine and Align
It’s easy to go through the motions without thinking. This class builds on 10+ years studying with my Yoga as Therapy teacher Doug Keller. We incorporate specific elements of alignment and movement to help refine our practice. Sometimes it’s subtle, sometimes it’s big. xx kimberly
Root to Rise
Strong, powerful and steady. You’ll find yourself being challenged to try new arm balances and inversions in this fun fill 60 minutes.
RevRevive::Yoga++ Flow
This class is here to mix it up by incorporating some high intensity sequences akin to HIIT and Sadie Nardini’s Yoga Shred. Come ready to elevate and push through boundaries.
Heated Flow, Vinyasa 60, Sayonara, Work! + Breakfast of Champions + Sunny Side Up
We like playful names! For these classes you can expect a Baptiste inspired flow with plenty of movement and holds. Not to fast, not to slow. Just the right balance. Get yourself into a meditative, blissed out state of mind.
