I am the founder of the Yoga Hive, a studio that came from a vision I had during a 10 day silent vipassana retreat. 15 years later, I’m thrilled to pass the torch on to new owners. Stay tuned for details.
My profound experiences with a daily meditation and pranayama (breathing practices) over the past 10 years have led me numerous retreats and workshops. I weave this wisdom into all my teachings. I am a Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and have completed additional 300 hour trainings in transformational wellness at Create Karma and Ayruvedic Yoga at Kripalu.
MY TEACHING
You can expect to find your center, move with breath and have some fun.
I love being part of the community and meeting new people. Teaching is an art and holding space for breath and possibility is my mission. Yoga helps me to feel alive and connected. I am the Yoga Hive’s studio manager.
MY TEACHING
You can expect to find a strong, steady practice that will allow you to move and breathe with ease. I’m a minimalist with cues, so get ready to listen to your breath and take time to get organized in your body.
I came to yoga first as a way to get fit, but found something that completely changed my life instead. Healing physical injuries from my younger years, yoga has transformed the way I handle and helped me find both my inner and outer strength. I completed my 200-hour teacher training right here at Yoga Hive and continue to expand my knowledge wherever I can.
MY TEACHING
Get ready to get sweaty and feel awesome in my power vinyasa classes. We'll get our bodies moving together to build muscle and our inner fire before easing into stretches that will leave you feeling renewed.
Yoga has been very healing for me both physically and mentally. When I started practicing, I had a knee injury. Yoga has allowed me to heal and stay healthy physically. It has also provided me with stress relief and a space where I can make room wherever I need it in my life. I have been practicing yoga since 2006 and earned my 200-hour teaching certification from Amazing Yoga. MY TEACHING
I provide a space for you to explore yoga and find whatever it is that you need when you come to your mat.
I love yoga and have been practicing yoga for nine years and completed my RYS training with Unity Vinyasa. As a critical care nurse, I believe that you can only uplift others if you are in a good place yourself. Yoga has helped me deal with the everyday stressors of life.
MY TEACHING I am excited to share with others the beautiful practice of linking breath with movement to help students feel relaxed, stronger and more peaceful.
Yoga has always been a part of my life, thanks to being raised by a yoga teacher. Through childhood, my days always involved yoga. Whether it was attending after school yoga club, leading my elementary school in sun salutations, recording a kids yoga dvd with my mom, or ringing in the new year in the studio while my mom taught; yoga has always been more than just a workout to me. The aura of the studio and the yoga community are woven into the fabric of who I am.
MY TEACHING
We will warm up, learn a flow together slowly while adjusting and becoming familiar, then flow faster together before cooling down. My classes are more than just a physical workout. I will share with you the spiritual meanings behind our asana and provide intentions and affirmations as guidance to maintain a meditative headspace.
When I started yoga, I thought breathing cues were superfluous in the workout I was seeking. But after a few classes, I realized how my breath could help me to explore physical and mental boundaries I didn’t know existed. I completed my YTT with Uplifted Yoga amidst the start of the pandemic. It is my goal to make yoga a fun and productive activity for people of all levels of experience
MY TEACHING
My classes are a Power Flow/Vinyasa style, with a focus on personal modifications and injury prevention. Come prepared to sweat, stretch and laugh together on the way!
